People's Acupuncture

A Gift of Healing

Welcome to People’s Acupuncture, an affordable, low-cost acupuncture clinic in the heart of Bellevue. We treat all patients whether you have insurance coverage or not.

We are patient oriented and results oriented, taking pride in producing great results with 90% patient return rate while providing a safe, non-rushed and relaxed atmosphere.

For what others in Bellevue may charge $80 - $200 per treatment; we charge $40 - $60, so that you can afford getting 4-6 more return treatments to achieve the desired therapeutic results. For Veterans, we offer another 50% discount on top. We also offer various discounted pre-paid packages, some of which can be shared among family members and friends. We offer a “Report of Findings” during your very first visit so you’ll have an overall assessment of your health at no additional charge to you.

Case after case we’ve seen patients recover after frequent and incremental treatments. In China, people could afford daily or weekly treatments because having acupuncture there is like having a bowl of hot noodles soup. We would like to foster a partnership between the patient and the acupuncturist to enhance the healing process. A strong partnership is the only thing that matters, not the insurance, time constraints, nor the ability to pay. We take the necessary time and effort to communicate with our patients, building their knowledge and confidence in our medicine.

Right now we take cash or check only. If you have insurance to cover acupuncture, we will provide a super-bill for you to submit directly to your insurance carrier. We do not work with insurance companies yet, currently applying for credentialing so we can accept insurance co-pay in Fall 2010.

Our treatment encompasses Acupuncture and a number of applicable modalities such as Chinese Herbs and dietary therapy that are part of the Traditional Chinese Medicine.  We will refer patients to Qigong and Tai Ji exercise classes with a highly experienced instructor.

Please check “Events” page of our website for educational workshops and speaking engagements that we periodically offer to help you learn more about this wonderful medicine.

We only use sterile, disposable, single-use acupuncture needles.  These needles are hair thin in diameter, causing very little pain with experienced and safe needling techniques — 40 of the most thin acupuncture needles could fit inside a large hypodermic needle.
